Ross Holding Photography has been a family run business now for over 33 years, previously named Conros Studios, named after the 2 sons Conrad and Ross.

When you think that a third of all businesses go bust within the first 3 years........operating a successful business since 1980 must encourage confidence and assure you that you are in good hands.

The business is now owned by Ross Holding aged 40 and his Fiance Sarka aged 32. They combine excellent photography skills with wonderful, warm customer service and memories that will last forever. Ross has been a photographer for 22 years and trained Sarka himself. Sarka has now been a professional photographer for the past 7 years.

How safe are your photos?

Imagine how you'd feel if your precious images were lost to fire, theft or equipment failure. Those memories can never be replaced. Whether its a wedding or your babies first photo shoot, you can rest assured that your images will be safely protected should the worst happen.

• Failure of memory cards:  Camera's are used that have back up memory cards, so if one card fails during a shoot, your photos will be safely stored on the other card.
• 8 Terabyte hard drive is used to back up all images. All images are mirrored on other drives should the drive fail. We have up to 8 years work stored on hard drives and the rest on discs.  
• As extra protection a cloud space company is used, holding a large number of images. So even if our discs and drives are stolen from our secure alarmed office or damaged by fire then your images are still safe.

This is something that customers over look and never ask photographers yet this is very important as once images are lost they are lost forever.

All our wedding samples shown, in the sample albums and on the website have all been taken by Ross & Sarka and are all from 'real' weddings. No models where used to show how we can pose and compose the shots as this would be done with no time limit and this is of course not 'real' weddings.

Wedding packages on this site act as a guide, packages can be customised to meet your own requirements. All packages include a secure online gallery where you and your guests can view/buy photos. Also there is no VAT, coverage charge or hidden costs in all prices.

• Story book albums - These are stunning contemporary albums that feature a bespoke customised layout, no templates are used, creating a different album each time that fits into your selection of photos chosen by you. Both layout and artwork are approved by you before the album is committed to print. Turnaround for story book once artwork is approved takes 3-4 weeks.
• Classic albums - These are modern/traditional style album, normally consisting of 1 image per page as apposed to a selection of images per page in the story books.

Depending on the child, between 8 and 30 shots are taken in various poses and styles. Post production consists of finishing touches such as sharpening  the image and airbrushing imperfections. There is a large selection of finishes available, prints, canvas block, montages, acrylics and images on disc.

PRESCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY

Ordering is made simple for your convenience. Parents are given a secure password and album name so they can view and order their photos online, resulting in a fast turnaround time - as little as two days they can receive their orders.

 A commission is given to the preschool / playgroup which can range from 10% to 20% of total order taken in.
